The Holmstrup cedar is a very versatile dwarf evergreen tree. Use it as a specimen landscape tree, in perennial beds or conifer displays. It is excellent as a foundation shrub and makes a nice mid height conifer hedge. The Holmstrup cedar fits in well with other evergreen trees. Below is a picture of the hedge of Holmstrup landscape evergreen trees that line the center garden of our display area.

- Site Requirements: Sun; prefers deep, moist, well-drained soil

- Foliage: Apple-green needles; dense, flattened sprays overlap and radiate in vertical plane
