Francis Williams Hosta
The Hosta ‘Francis Williams’, Hosta sieboldiana, is a large Hosta with wide yellow margins that surround blue-green centers, making it very striking. The white flowers bloom from July to August, however, Hosta’s are not known only for their flowers. With a plant height of 24” and a spread of 48-60”, Hosta’s provide bright color in shade with wonderful foliage. Hosta ‘Francis Williams’ needs to be planted in a full shade area in any moist, well-drained area. Hosta ‘Frances Williams’ is perhaps the most widely grown of the big Hostas. This low care perennial is ideal for shady positions, tubs and patio pots, and one of the most popular for landscape uses. A great choice for any beginner gardener.
